Materials and Craftsmanship Behind Our Yurts
Every yurt is built using frame panel walls pre insulated frame panel roofs. The larger trusts have a steel compression ring, and all yurts have galvanized 1/2” to 5/8”
steel cables threaded through a chase in the roof panels for tension, eliminating the need for any center supports. We select insulation and window packages based on where the yurt will sit, since a yurt placed in the hills outside Ukiah faces different exposure than one built closer to the coastal influence near Santa Rosa.
